Day 1: Sunday, 4 April 2027
Arrival in the late afternoon, followed by dinner with the participants.
Days 2 to 4: Monday to Wednesday, 5, 6 and 7 April 2027
Excursions with Christophe Guiraud in the Camargue. From 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Meals included: breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
Day 5: Thursday, 8 April 2027
Departure after breakfast or extension for photographers.
Price per participant:
€900 in a double/twin room
€1,000 in a single room
Economy option available: arrival on 5 April at 7:30 am, full programme, departure on 7 April 2027 after the final excursion. €700 in a double room or €760 in a single room.

Thursday, 8 April 2027: 3-hour photography workshop at the Pont de Gau Ornithological Park with Cécile Domens – French/English
At sunrise, from 6:00 am to 9:00 am, plus access to the park for the rest of the day. Possibility of returning to Envie de Sud and heading back out later in the day.

Friday, 9 April 2027: Private access to the Petit Rhône Nature Reserve with photography hides – No guide
Private access to the Petit Rhône Nature Reserve and its photography hides for our group. The reserve will be closed to the general public on this day, giving you exclusive use of all the hides. Possibility of returning to Envie de Sud and heading back out later in the day.
Price per participant: €130 for the full day. €70 if booked from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm only, €110 if booked from 5:45 am to 5:00 pm or from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

For our in-house guests staying at Envie de Sud and booking our half-board package, we organise private birdwatching and nature excursions throughout the year, accompanied by our professional ornithologists. Tours are available in English or French.
The guiding fee is a fixed daily rate, regardless of whether you are travelling alone, as a couple, or in a group of up to 5–8 participants. Transportation costs and any entrance fees are charged separately by the ornithologist.
Each excursion is fully tailored to your interests, allowing you to create a programme that matches your wishes and the species or habitats you would like to discover.
For French-speaking nature enthusiasts looking for a more budget-friendly option, visiting the Camargue during the annual Festival de la Camargue et du Delta du Rhône, held every year over the Ascension weekend, is an excellent choice. The festival offers an extensive programme of guided walks, excursions and lectures in French.
A stay at Envie de Sud with half-board provides a comfortable and affordable alternative to a fully private guided experience, while allowing you to enjoy one of the region’s most important nature events.
Of course, nature lovers are welcome to enjoy an early breakfast before setting off at dawn, when wildlife is at its most active.
