In 2024, we are offering families with children/grandparents with grandchildren and godparents with godchildren a package of excursions and activities.
You will receive vouchers for 2 activities from the choice on the flyer for a stay of 4 nights or 4 activities from the choice on the flyer for a stay of 7 nights or more. We also provide a travel guide in PDF format.
The excursions are suitable for children aged 5 and over. There is no upper age limit. The programme appeals to young and old alike.

What are the conditions for taking advantage of this family promotion?
To receive the gift of 4 excursions the family must book a minimum of 7 nights with breakfast and 4 dinners at the table d`hôtes.
To take advantage of the 2 excursions gift, the family must book a minimum of 4 nights with breakfast and 2 table d’hôte dinners.
We accept all types of families, including grandparents travelling with their grandchildren or godparents giving a gift to their godchildren.
How much will it cost my family?
The exact price depends on the configuration of your “family”. How many adults/children. And the age of the children. And of course the comfort you choose or that is available – a family room or a flat with 2 bathrooms…

How are activities selected and organised?
Ideally, you should decide at least a few days before your arrival what activities your family would like to do. You choose from the list on the flyer.
4-day stay / 2 activities :
You choose 1 activity from 1a/1b or 1c and you choose a second activity from 2a/2b or 2c.
7-day stay – 4 activities as a gift
For activity 1, you decide whether you want to go horse riding or cycling.
For activity 2 in Aigues-Mortes, you choose whether to tour the ramparts or visit the saltworks.
Point 3 Decision between the ornithological park and the boat trip
Point 4 Creative workshop, Nîmes or Arles.
You tell us your decision so that we can contact our partners and make the bookings for you.
You will also receive a travel guide in PDF format. In your choice of French, English or German. You then set off on your own. We give you the vouchers or e-tickets. You are then responsible for arriving at the agreed location on time.
For the horse-riding and cycling activities, we also need the height of all the participants and an indication of their level of experience.
Please also let us know if you have any special wishes regarding the day and time of the activity.
Of course, the season and temperatures play a part in the planning. We also need to take into account the opening hours of certain activities.
As the organisation on our side requires a few phone calls to make sure everything goes smoothly, we can’t plan activities at the last minute, in your best interests.
What’s more, your family will be doing the activities together so that you can enjoy a shared family experience. The idea is not for two people to go horse riding and the other two to hire bikes.
Of course, you can book other activities as well. Additional activities are charged at the official rates. You can do this directly with the providers or we can help you plan and call for you.
What are the booking/cancellation conditions?
Payment: A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. A further deposit of 30% is due 60 days before arrival. The final 50% is due 30 days before arrival.
Standard cancellation: cancellations are free of charge up to 60 days before arrival, a charge of 50% is made for cancellations made between 30 and 59 days before arrival, and a charge of 100% is made for cancellations made between 1 and 29 days before arrival. In the event of cancellation, we will immediately put your place up for sale and only charge the fee if we have not been able to resell your place. However, we recommend that you take out travel insurance in case of exceptional events such as illness or accident.
Good to know...2 small rules...
Envie de Sud is 100% non-smoking inside and out. If you wish to smoke, please do so on the terrace in front of the house (rue Broussan).
In the family room “Mas en ville” we accept a small dog (except July & August). However, depending on your choice of activities, it may not be possible to take the dog with you and at Envie de Sud it cannot be left alone.
